Rumors of discord within the group DJ DOC have resurfaced. Member Kim Chang-yeol was excluded from DJ DOC's year-end concert.
According to the entertainment industry on the 4th, DJ DOC will perform as a special guest at the "Young 40 Club Party (YOUNG 40 CLUB PARTY)" to be held on the 11th at Arabianite in Gyeyang-gu, Incheon.
The Young 40 Club Party, to be held at a nightclub, set the slogan "Our own party that revives the vibe of those days as it is." In addition to DJ DOC, KOYOTE and Mighty Mouth will also appear.
The third floor of Arabianite, the concert venue, is considered a particularly meaningful space for DJ DOC. From 2001 to 2010, BUDA SOUND, part of the DJ DOC camp, housed its official studio there.
At the same time, rumors of discord within DJ DOC have resurfaced. It became known that only Lee Ha-neul and Jung Jae-yong, excluding Kim Chang-yeol, were listed on the roster of the three-member group DJ DOC.
Their conflict reportedly intensified after the death of Lee Hyun-bae, Lee Ha-neul's younger brother and a member of 45RPM, in 2021.
In particular, Lee Ha-neul claimed that Kim Chang-yeol promised to invest in a pension business in Jeju Island that Lee Hyun-bae was running but failed to follow through, that Lee Hyun-bae then made a living doing delivery work and was involved in a traffic accident, and that he ultimately died.
Last year on his YouTube channel, Lee Ha-neul said, "My relationship with (Kim Chang-yeol) is not good. Rather than saying it's not good, it hasn't been resolved yet. We don't get along. The circumstances for reconciliation aren't right."
