Episode 8 of the full-fledged real street food documentary 'Jun Hyun-moo Plan 3' (MBN·Channel S·SK Broadband co-production), which airs Friday the 5th at 9:10 p.m., reveals the scene where Jun Hyun-moo and KwakTube, who declared the "Seoul night" special, and food friends Ha Jung-woo and Kim Dong-wook thoroughly uncover the true secret restaurants of Namdaemun Market merchants.
That day Jun Hyun-moo asked the "food friends," "What kind of food do you like?" and Ha Jung-woo confessed to being a "spice-averse" by saying, "I eat all Korean food. Except spicy things." Kim Dong-wook joined in, saying, "I also can't eat spicy food well," and Ha Jung-woo revealed his "food creed," saying, "I like muguk~, it's comforting. I only eat green chili peppers." Feeling a surge of "spicy pride," Jun Hyun-moo responded, "Green chili peppers aren't even real chilies~," showing their opposing chemistry. Amid their bickering chemistry, when they arrived at Namdaemun Market Jun Hyun-moo guided them to a Pyongyang naengmyeon restaurant, saying, "It's where market merchants close their shops and go up." KwakTube expressed anticipation, saying, "Today I think things will go well thanks to these two 'national actors' rather than to the 'Jun Hyun-moo machine' (recruitment)."
As attention focused on whom the restaurant owner would allow to film, the four, seated in a restaurant full of old-shop charm, ordered Pyongyang naengmyeon first, followed by stir-fried pork, spicy chicken salad, and bindaetteok. After tasting the food, Ha Jung-woo dropped a weighty, "It's delicious," and KwakTube marveled, "A legendary diner!" Jun Hyun-moo, with a nervous look, said, "It feels like being judged," making everyone burst out laughing.
During a serious mukbang, Jun Hyun-moo brought up movies, asking, "I have a question. Dong-wook, did you immediately say 'O.K.' to director Ha Jung-woo's casting offer?" Kim Dong-wook said, "I accepted right away," but made an unexpected remark, "But when I read the script they sent, I was shocked." Ha Jung-woo nodded meaningfully and self-revealed casting behind-the-scenes, saying, "Gong Hyo-jin even called, 'Oppa, how can you shoot this?' and we talked for an hour."
