Sangcheol from 'I am SOLO' said in an interview that he effectively excluded Yeong-ja, who is nine years older.
Three days ago, on SBS Plus·ENA 'I am SOLO', the 29th group of solo men and solo women formed around an older-man-younger-woman concept were shown struggling to find love.
In the interview, Yeong-ja expressed favor for Sangcheol, saying, "It may be just my feeling, but he gave subtle signs of affection for me, he was energetic, led the atmosphere well and was lively, which I liked," and chose Sangcheol.
In an interview with the production team, Sangcheol clearly stated his thoughts about Yeong-ja, who is nine years older. Sangcheol said he excluded Yeong-ja from his choices. The reason was that Yeong-ja, like him, has a job teaching children.
Sangcheol candidly said, "Ms. Yeong-ja and I both have jobs teaching children, so if a situation like COVID comes, we could both struggle," and, "I would prefer a professional occupation if possible." This appears to be a realistic judgment considering the economic and environmental difficulties that could arise when two people have similar jobs.
