Actor Song Joong-ki shared an update via YouTube.
On the 3rd, his agency Highjeum Studio posted on its official YouTube channel the opening and bridge VCR videos from a recently held Song Joong-ki fan meeting. The video showed Song Joong-ki sitting in the summer in a dwelling, drinking coffee and answering questions about his recent life.
Song Joong-ki shared even the small daily details that fans might be curious about, saying, "I think I drink two cups of coffee a day. One cappuccino in the morning, and one iced americano at lunch, a total of two cups, refreshingly." He even made fans laugh when asked what his first thought was upon waking, saying, "Did the Hanwha Eagles win or lose yesterday? I fell asleep watching the game in the eighth inning."
He continued, "Between breakfast and dinner, dinner is definitely more important for me. I don't usually take good care of breakfast. So I have to eat a lot of tasty things at dinner," and laughed, "My favorite times of day are sunrise and sunset. If I had to pick one, sunrise."
He also said, "My favorite season among the four is autumn, but to be more specific, late summer. I'm very sensitive to heat and cold, so I like late summer just before autumn arrives a bit," and recommended, "I recommend the movie "About Time," which you can watch with a warm heart when the breeze starts to get mildly cool."
Regarding meeting fans again after a long time, Song Joong-ki said, "It feels reassuring. The simple phrase that you will always support me as I am felt powerful," and expressed gratitude, "Thank you for always being by my side so reliably, and I will not forget that feeling and will continue to be by your side with good works in my true form."
He added, "It's something I always tell myself too: 'No matter what happens, be yourself; don't compare yourself to others, be yourself.' I want to tell people that," and, "I laughed a lot today. Preparing for a fan meeting after such a long time made me nervous and the preparation process also made me excited, so I laughed a lot. I laughed the most today in a long time."
He also said he has been enjoying singer Lee Moo-jin's "Cheongchunmanhwa" lately and even sang a line of it. When asked about the happiest time of day, he shyly said, "When I drink a cappuccino in the morning and sprinkle cinnamon on it," and laughed, "Is that too detailed? I must put honey in it." He also said he felt suddenly very sorry about meeting fans offline for the first time in seven years since 2018, adding, "I completely forgot that the last time was 2018."
Song Joong-ki held "2025 Song Joong-ki fan meeting–Stay Happy" on Oct. 25 at the Ewha Womans University auditorium. The event drew attention as his first offline fan meeting in eight years since the 2018 debut 10th anniversary fan meeting "The day we were together."
Meanwhile, he is reported to have remarried British-born actress KT Luise Saunders and to have one son and one daughter, living between Italy and Korea.<
