Actor Cha In-ha has been gone from our side for six years.
Dec. 3, 2025, is the sixth anniversary of actor Cha In-ha's death. The late actor was found dead at his home on Dec. 3, 2019. He was 27 years old at the time of his death.
Cha In-ha's death was shocking. At the time, the drama "People with Flaws" in which Cha In-ha was appearing was on the air, and Cha In-ha was interacting with fans as late as the day before his death, saying "Everyone be careful of colds."
The agency said, "We are heartbroken and devastated to share such painful and regrettable news. Cha In-ha has left us. It pains us deeply to deliver this sad news to all who have supported and loved him."
The production of his final work, "People with Flaws," mourned him with a subtitle in episode 5 that read, "We will always remember your shy smile. Rest peacefully where there is no worry." Because it was a 100% pre-produced drama, Cha In-ha's death did not affect the broadcast.
Cha In-ha, who debuted in the 2017 film "You, Deep in My Heart," drew attention as a member of Fantagio's actor group "Surprise U."
