Singer Im Chang-jung will wrap up his activities for the year with the encore performance of his national tour in Seoul.
Im Chang-jung will hold the encore performances of "2025 Im Chang-jung 30th anniversary
Celebrating his 30th anniversary since debut this year, Im Chang-jung began the national tour on May 3 in Daegu and visited fans across the country through stops in Busan, Seoul, Goyang, Jeonju, Suwon and Daejeon. Still loved for his classic hits, Im Chang-jung satisfied audiences' senses and, responding to fans' requests, confirmed the Seoul encore performance.
The concert, to be held at Seoul KBS Arena on Dec. 27 and 28, is expected to give fans an unforgettable time with a medley of hit songs, his trademark humor and wit, and a program that encapsulates his 30-year musical journey.
On top of a concert in Vietnam, he filled 2025 with abundant activities—including the new song "I miss you though I don't want to see you," and the remake single "If I hold you in my arms"—as if fulfilling his own pledge to "repay love with music."
Music fans responded to Im Chang-jung's sincerity. The remake single "If I hold you in my arms," released on Nov. 6, topped Kakao Music's real-time chart immediately after release, ranked No. 1 on Bell365's latest chart, and reached No. 2 on Genie's latest releases chart (two weeks), enriching late-autumn music fans' playlists.
Recently, he appeared on the MBN music variety show "Unforgettable Duet" and moved audiences by passionately singing "Ililil" for Im Tae-hoon, the "Chef in Black and White" of "Talka-bang Chef," and his grandmother. At the time, Im Chang-jung, who said, "I want to believe in the power of song," also delivered a powerful emotional performance that poured sincerity and feeling into a single stage.
Im Chang-jung, who plans to finish 2025 with fans at the national tour's Seoul encore, will hold concerts in Los Angeles in the U.S. and Sydney in Australia in January 2026.
