'Dynamite Kiss' Jang Ki-yong and Ahn Eun-jin's emotions surge.
SBS's Wed-Thu drama Dynamite Kiss (written by Ha Yoon-ah, Tae Kyung-min; directed by Kim Jae-hyun, Kim Hyun-woo) is generating explosive reactions not only in Korea but also overseas with its thrilling four-way romance. It took the No. 1 spot on Netflix global (non-English 11/24~11/30). It ranked No. 3 globally in its first broadcast week, No. 2 in its second week, and achieved No. 1 globally within three weeks of airing, proving its overwhelming popularity.
Earlier, Gong Ji-hyeok witnessed Kim Sun-woo and Yoo Ha-young kissing and mistakenly thought they were having an affair. To prevent Go Da-rim from getting hurt, he began protecting her. While that was happening, Go Da-rim collapsed in front of Gong Ji-hyeok. Carrying Go Da-rim on his back, Gong Ji-hyeok rushed to the emergency room and hung up when Kim Sun-woo called Go Da-rim. Then he repeated to himself, "I wish I were the only one by your side. I think I might be crazy." It was a moment that sent viewers' dopamine soaring.

Meanwhile, on Dec. 3, the Dynamite Kiss production team released images immediately after the ending of episode 6 showing Gong Ji-hyeok and Go Da-rim looking at each other tenderly, drawing attention.
In the released photos, Gong Ji-hyeok is keeping vigil beside a sleeping Go Da-rim in the emergency room. His gaze at Go Da-rim and every small gesture of care reveal Gong Ji-hyeok's aching heart. Then Go Da-rim opens her eyes and looks at Gong Ji-hyeok with a surprised expression. Earlier, Go Da-rim had said she no longer wanted to be a burden to Gong Ji-hyeok. Viewers are left wondering how Go Da-rim will react when she sees Gong Ji-hyeok and what emotions she will feel.
Regarding this, the Dynamite Kiss production team said, "In episode 7 airing today (3), Gong Ji-hyeok and Go Da-rim will be swept up in a storm of emotions driven by their love for each other. Both of them think with their heads that it's wrong, yet they cannot control the attraction they feel for one another. This will make their romance even more poignant and increase viewer engagement."
