Jang Wooyoung marked the 10th anniversary of his solo debut in Japan by successfully concluding a commemorative solo concert in Tokyo.
Jang Wooyoung held the solo concert '2025 Jang Wooyoung Concert < half half > in Japan' (2025 Jang Wooyoung Concert < half half > in Japan) at Kanadevia Hall in Tokyo for two days on Nov. 29–30. The concert was the Tokyo performance of '2025 Jang Wooyoung Concert < half half >' that took place Sept. 27–28 at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin District, Seoul, and was arranged to commemorate the 10th anniversary of his solo debut in Japan, drawing strong interest from local fans and selling out both shows including additional seats.
A gentle guitar piece playing in the darkened venue signaled the start of the concert, and Jang Wooyoung appeared amid a warm mood and band sound to a roar of cheers. He then sat on a chair and opened with the first song 'Carpet' (Carpet), followed by a varied setlist filled with emotion including 'Going Going' (Going Going), 'Off the record' (Off the record), 'Happy Birthday' (Happy Birthday) and 'Swamp' (늪), showcasing the multifaceted charms of artist Jang Wooyoung.
The highlight of the Tokyo performance was the first live stage of the title track 'Reason' (Reason) from his first local best album '3650.zip', scheduled for release on the 24th. About the song he said, "I long thought about the reasons I sing, dance and make music. In the end, I reached the conclusion that the reason is all the fans, and I put that thought into the lyrics," and the audience responded enthusiastically to his sincere feelings.
Jang Wooyoung raised satisfaction with a stage of high completeness worthy of his reputation and energy-filled performances. Near the end of the show he said, "To celebrate the 10th anniversary of my solo debut in Japan, I prepared a best album as a gift for fans. Let's run together until the 20th anniversary," raising anticipation for the new release.
Having been active with the digital single 'Simple dance' (Simple dance) in June, the mini album 3 'I'm into' (I'm into) and its title track 'Think Too Much (Feat. Damini)' (Think Too Much) in September, Jang Wooyoung will continue his momentum through the end of 2025. His first Japanese best album '3650.zip', which richly includes 18 tracks comprising several of his signature songs and the new song fans have been waiting for, will be released on the 24th. He will hold solo performances at Hyogo Kobe Bunka Hall on the 27th–28th to be with fans.
