G-Dragon heated up the scene by attending the Chanel 2026 Métiers d'Art collection show held in New York.
On that day, G-Dragon wore look 26 jacket and pullover from the 2026 spring-summer ready-to-wear collection.
Ivory flower motif embroidery details decorating the collar, sleeves and waistline of the black tweed jacket drew attention. The intricately raised texture embellishments revealed their presence without a Director silhouette, completing G-Dragon's signature style that seemed to add a punk sensibility atop classic tweed.
Added to this were a 2026 holiday collection ring (about $9,000 · Hanwha about 12.15 million won), 2025/26 FW ready-to-wear sunglasses (about $695 · Hanwha about 940,000 won), and the collection leather belt, creating not simply an outfit but a "Chanel-like attitude." Some accessories and eyewear appear to be from a high-end line; the earrings G-Dragon wore are known to be $11,300 (about 15.25 million won), and products in the 18 million won range.
G-Dragon's signature short hairstyle and sleek black sunglasses emphasized his facial lines and expression, completing the look's direction, and he balanced weight with loosely falling wide pants and black-and-white color-block shoes. Small silver brooches, a ring estimated to be a layered ring (9,000 dollars. Hanwha about 12.15 million won), and nail color-conscious fingertip styling also drew attention.
This Chanel 2026 Métiers d'Art collection was born from the touch of Matthieu Blazy. Based on a world that started from the "New York subway," it presented a collection combining an urban and cinematic perspective with Métiers d'Art's characteristic craftsmanship. From Art Deco to subculture, codes such as leopard tweed, wool boucle and intricate embroidery were reflected throughout, portraying the coexistence of Chanel-like elegance and provocation.
The show's scenes are being released on Chanel's website and official social media channels.<
