Actor Ryu Jun-yeol finally appeared at the Reply 1988 (hereinafter "Reply 1988") 10th anniversary MT site.
The tvN special variety show Reply 1988 10th anniversary, which premieres on the 19th, captures the 2 Days & 1 Night trip taken by the Ssangmundong family who reunited. Sung Dong-il·Lee Il-hwa·Ra Mi-ran·Kim Sung-kyun·Ryu Hye-young·Park Bo-gum·Ko Kyung-pyo·Ahn Jae-hong and other actors who led the "Reply 1988" syndrome at the time all appeared.
The representative images and posters released to mark the 10th anniversary stirred nostalgia, but one question remained. Jung-hwan was not seen in many places on the poster. Some speculated that he might have not attended because of his breakup with Hyeri.
The two became a couple through Reply 1988 and continued a public relationship for seven years, and they broke up in 2023. Therefore whether they would reunite was the biggest point of interest for this 10th anniversary content.
However, Ryu Jun-yeol appeared in footage released on Channel Sibo-ya's SNS on the 1st. In a photo Hyeri took with a film camera, Ryu Jun-yeol was sitting and looking at the camera with Ra Mi-ran·Kim Sung-kyun·Ahn Jae-hong. It was a moment that filled the seat as Jung-hwan after 10 years.
In the camera Hyeri used, the Ssangmundong family showed the same chemistry and warm atmosphere. Each time familiar faces such as Ryu Hye-young·Park Bo-gum·Ko Kyung-pyo·Ahn Jae-hong were captured in the photos, the 10 years overlapped intact.
However, there was no two-shot of Ryu Jun-yeol and Hyeri.
