Singer-songwriter Roy Kim continued his strong run from meeting Japanese fans to activities at home, once again proving his presence as a "trusted balladeer."
Roy Kim (real name Kim Sang-woo) held a two-show live concert titled "Three Blooms, One Moment" on Nov. 30 at Omiya Sonic City Hall in Saitama Prefecture, Japan, together with 10cm and Paul Kim. He captivated the Japanese fans in attendance with his sweet tone and songs that warmly suit the winter season.
Roy Kim led the mood with his characteristically relaxed yet delicate vocals and sincere stage manner, starting with his debut song "Bom Bom Bom" and following with signature songs such as "Love Love Love," "You Could Just Break Up Then," and "If You Ask Me What Love Is," receiving enthusiastic responses. On the stage for "I can't express it any other way," which hit the autumn charts immediately after its recent release, the emotion deepened and drew the audience in. On the final song "HOME," the support from Japanese fans came through fully, leaving a warm resonance throughout the venue.
This Japan performance is even more meaningful as it coincides with his recent active domestic activities. Roy Kim is spending a busier year-end than anyone, moving between broadcasts, radio, YouTube and concerts. With sincere music, a diligent attitude and a modest wit, he has won over not only music fans but also variety show and radio audiences.
After the concert, Roy Kim said, "Thanks to the support of Japanese fans, it was a warm time. I look forward to the day we meet again," expressing his gratitude to fans.
After successfully wrapping up his Japan live shows, Roy Kim will hold "2025-26 Roy Kim LIVE TOUR [ja, daumm]" for three days from Dec. 12 to 14 at Ticketlink Live Arena (Handball Gymnasium), Olympic Park, Songpa District, Seoul. The shows recorded a full sellout, proving his strength as a "performance craftsman."
From the successful overseas performance to the year-end solo concerts, Roy Kim is filling the end of 2025 with heat through his diligent and steady steps. Expectations are building for his upcoming musical journey.
