The first stills of actor Ahn Bo-hyun, who will lead tvN's first romantic comedy of 2026, "Spring Fever," have been released.
Spring Fever, a new tvN Monday-Tuesday drama (directed by Park Won-guk, written by Kim A-jeong) set to premiere on Jan. 5, 2026, is a hot pink romance of spring days that will thaw the frozen hearts of teacher Yoon Bom (played by Lee Joo-bin), who feels the cold wind blowing, and Seon Jae-gyu (played by Ahn Bo-hyun), a man with a burning heart.
Ahn Bo-hyun plays Seon Jae-gyu, a person of interest whose outrageous behavior stirs up the town. Despite his burning heart, Jae-gyu, who has a large build and a rough first impression reminiscent of back alleys, possesses the surprising charm of a passionate and steadfast pure love. He had lived with the goal of raising his nephew Seon Han-gyeol (played by Jo Joon-young) properly, but when Yoon Bom appears before him, his heart begins to waver in the gentle spring breeze.
In the first stills released today (the 2nd), Ahn Bo-hyun captures attention with a flawless immersion into the unpredictable man who lets go of the reins and rushes forward, Seon Jae-gyu. He elicits laughter with scenes such as casually lifting a tree, embodying the archetype of a "tough guy with a soft heart." In particular, Seon Jae-gyu's intense visual—tight short-sleeved T-shirt clinging to his body and a tattoo revealed on one arm—promises the birth of an unprecedented, remarkable character and heightens anticipation.
With an irreplaceable presence, Ahn Bo-hyun plans to fully showcase Seon Jae-gyu's distinctive charm: rough in appearance but deep and warm inside. Actually from Busan, he will deliver his first dialect acting realistically through "Spring Fever," offering both fresh fun and excitement at the same time.
