'The Ballad of Us' Lee Ye-ji became the inaugural winner.

That day, the final contestants TOP6 Lee Ji-hoon, Hong Seung-min, Song Ji-woo, Cheon Beom-seok, Lee Ye-ji, and Choi Eun-bin presented their final performances. The theme of the final stage was "my ballad," and each contestant chose a song that best expressed themselves to perform on stage. The final winner was decided by combining on-site top-bagwi scores 40%, real-time text-vote scores 55%, and pre-app vote scores 5% to form the final total score.
Before the stage, the results of the pre-app voting were released, with Lee Ye-ji ranking first at 26.9%. She was followed in order by Choi Eun-bin, Hong Seung-min, Lee Ji-hoon, Cheon Beom-seok, and Song Ji-woo.
The final stage officially began. First, Hong Seung-min selected Jung Joon-il's 'Hug me.' Second, Choi Eun-bin chose Shin Seung-hoon's 'You are just a little higher than me' and said, "I teared up every round, but this time I want to perform without regrets, showing a slightly more grown version of myself."
Song Ji-woo passionately sang Lee Seung-chul's 'Sleepless night,' and Lee Ji-hoon captivated the audience with his sweet voice on Choi Baek-ho's 'Things leaving me.' In response, Jung Jae-hyung said, "You could sing this at an Olympic opening ceremony," and Jun Hyun-moo also praised, "If Ji-hoon sings the national anthem, I think I'll cry."
'Jeju girl' Lee Ye-ji performed Yoon Jong-shin's 'Uphill road.' Cha Tae-hyun's eyes reddened, and she scored 2,883 points out of a possible 3,000, instantly rising to first place and surprising everyone.
Finally, Cheon Beom-seok chose Panic's 'Bus stop' and performed. Jun Hyun-moo commented on Cheon Beom-seok's performance, "While preparing to be an announcer I was unfilial. All the videos came to mind and I watched in a daze. I was made to reflect again by the power of that music. Thank you for teaching us the language of music," he said.
According to the on-site top-bagwi score results, Lee Ye-ji took first place with 2,883 points, followed by Lee Ji-hoon, Cheon Beom-seok, Choi Eun-bin, Song Ji-woo, and Hong Seung-min, occupying 2nd through 6th places respectively.
While the real-time voting was underway, eliminated past contestants performed beloved Korean songs to create a special stage that added to the emotion.
Meanwhile, the final ranking was revealed. Jun Hyun-moo said, "There was a change in ranking. Text voting is scary," arousing curiosity. As a result, 6th place was Song Ji-woo, 5th was Hong Seung-min, and 4th was Choi Eun-bin. 3rd place went to Cheon Beom-seok. Cheon Beom-seok said, "While doing 'The Ballad of Us' I learned sides of myself I didn't know and I am very grateful to those who liked my music. I will always practice music humbly. Please look forward to it," he said.
Lee Ye-ji, who achieved the final 10,000 points, became the long-awaited inaugural winner. Lee Ye-ji said, "I am grateful that many people seem curious about my future uphill road, and I thank my father." Her father, who was in the audience, also shed tears.
Runner-up Lee Ji-hoon, who placed second, said, "While preparing for the final round I grew fond of the song, and actually I really wanted to sing it for Jung Seung-hwan, so I am satisfied," and told his mother in their native language, "Thank you and I love you."
