The group Blingone performed special shows over two days at the Asian Television Awards (ATA), demonstrating their potential as global rookies.
Despite it being their first overseas awards-show stage since debut, Blingone received praise from broadcasters and fans at the venue for their confident performances and stage presence.
On day 1 (Nov. 28) they performed their debut song "Bubblegum," captivating the audience with their signature fresh energy. The bright, powerful performance layered over intense beats prompted local reviews calling them "the next rookie girl group to watch in Asia."
On day 2 (Nov. 29) they showed a different charm with their own remake of KARA's hit "Mister." They reinterpreted the original's signature choreography to create a sophisticated stage, and the venue was filled with fans' enthusiastic cheers, bringing the atmosphere to a peak.
The Asian Television Awards (ATA), founded in 1996, is Asia's leading broadcast awards show, involving broadcasting content and production staff and artists from more than 20 countries across Asia and the Pacific. It is a global-scale awards event that covers all genres, including drama, variety and music programs, and is influential enough to be called "the Emmys of Asian broadcasting."
In an official interview after the performance, Blingone's China members expressed their aspirations for the global stage. Leader Kessy said, "It was nerve‑wracking to meet many fans from across Asia for the first time, but thanks to the support I gained confidence. Please look forward to our further growth," offering her impressions of participating in the ATA.
ATA officials at the venue also said, "Blingone is a team with strong global scalability," mentioning their potential as the next generation of K‑POP girl groups. A representative of World K‑Pop Center said, "Because Blingone is a multinational project composed of members from 32 countries following China and Peru, including Vietnam, Indonesia, Brazil, Malaysia and the United States, the possibility of expanding their overseas fandom is very large," and added, "This ATA stage is an important first step to kick off global activities."
Meanwhile, Blingone is a multinational girl group composed of members selected through the 32‑country audition project "CLICK THE STAR," and they are quickly forming a rookie fandom in the Asian market and growing into a new global K‑POP icon.
