Kim Su-yong suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed on the afternoon of the 14th while filming a YouTube video in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province. According to Media Lab Siso, when Kim Su-yong lost consciousness at the same location on the 13th of last month, actor Im Hyung-joon, comedian Kim Sook, and Kim Sook's manager rushed over first and began emergency treatment. Im Hyung-joon and the manager immediately started cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and Kim Sook calmly handled calling 119 and securing the airway simultaneously.
In particular, Im Hyung-joon had previously experienced an emergency situation due to variant angina, so he was able to act immediately and not treat the urgent situation as someone else's problem.
Staff also joined in and performed continuous CPR until the ambulance arrived, and emergency treatment continued for 20 to 30 minutes even during the ambulance transfer. As a result, Kim Su-yong miraculously regained consciousness during transport.
