Actor Song Ji-in jumps into a world without dreams or hope.
HB Entertainment said today (2) "Actor Song Ji-in appears in the upcoming film 'Concrete Market.' Although her appearance is brief, her character will add strength to the work with her distinctive, steady acting," the agency said.
'Concrete Market,' in which Song Ji-in appears (director Hong Ki-won, distributor Lotte Entertainment, production Climax Studio, Endmark Studio), is the story of a Hwanggung Market that buys and sells goods in the only apartment remaining after a great earthquake, and of people starting transactions in their own ways to survive.
Song Ji-in appears in the work as So-jung, another helper who assists Hee-ro (played by Lee Jae-in). Attention is focused on what kind of presence Song Ji-in will show amid the desperate struggle that will unfold in the disaster.
Song Ji-in has carried out a wide range of activities across film and television. She built her filmography by appearing in films such as 'Obsessed,' 'Cart,' and 'Double Patty,' and in 'A Land of Seonghye,' which won the grand prize in the Korean competition at the Jeonju International Film Festival, she played the lead Seonghye and was praised for densely expressing the hardships of youth. In television series including the Love (ft. Marriage & Divorce) series, as well as 'Rose Mansion' and Love Scout, she showed steady acting, and especially in Love (ft. Marriage & Divorce) she left an impressive presence from seasons 1 through 3 through the assertive and candid Ami character.
Meanwhile, 'Concrete Market,' in which Song Ji-in appears, opens on the 3rd.
