Singer and actor Krystal, formerly of the group f(x), revealed behind-the-scenes stories from the drama "The Heirs." Playing the wealthy family's daughter, she borrowed her older sister Jessica's designer bag and her sister got very angry.
On the 1st, the official YouTube channel of fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar Korea uploaded a video titled "When did Krystal start dressing well? Krystal's fashion timeline after her first solo debut 16 years after debut."
Krystal first looked at photos from when she was about 5 to 6 years old and said, "When I look at photos from when I was little, my mother dressed me all nicely. I still wear my mother's 20- to 30-year-old clothes. I often wore twin looks with my sister. I mostly inherited my sister's clothes. That's how younger siblings are."
Photos from f(x)'s debut days and activities were also shown. Krystal said, "I was 20 by Korean age, 14 by international age. I think I was too young," adding, "Our team always seemed to try new things. We kept wearing styles we were newly exposed to."
She added, "I think each album always had a set color. When styling, it seemed we always focused on that color," and added, "When we did 'First Love,' I wanted to have red hair. So I made the suggestion, and they were like, 'If you do it, thanks.'"
She also revealed behind-the-scenes stories from appearing in Kim Eun-sook's drama "The Heirs." Krystal said, "When I played the character Bo-na in the drama 'The Heirs,' I was 20 by Korean age," and said, "She was the daughter of a wealthy family and always had to wear designer items, so I took a lot of references from watching 'Gossip Girl.'"
Krystal said, "As I remember, I borrowed a designer bag from my sister to use in a shoot, but of all scenes it was the one where someone throws my bag to the floor. When my sister saw that scene, I remember she was really angry," she revealed, drawing attention.
Krystal debuted with f(x) and has been active in both music and acting. On the 27th of last month she released her first solo single, "Solitary."
