SBS popular variety show Whenever Possible will make a comeback on Dec. 16, returning to viewers before the year ends.
SBS variety program Whenever Possible (directed by Choi Bo-pil, writer Chae Jin-ah) is a "niche attack" variety that gifts luck during brief pockets of time encountered in daily life. Returning last summer for season 3, Whenever Possible led solid popularity, ranking No. 1 in its time slot throughout its run and placing first overall among variety and drama in the 2049 demographic.
In particular, the final episode of the previous season, episode 35, recorded household ratings of 5.1% in the Seoul metropolitan area, 4.5% nationwide, and 1.5% in the 2049 demographic, capturing No. 1 in the 2049 and metropolitan household ratings for its time slot as well as No. 1 in 2049 ratings among all Tuesday variety shows, and with the farewell message "Season 4 will be no problem. See you soon," it promised the next meeting.
Meanwhile, the Whenever Possible team said, "We will return with season 4 on Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 9 p.m.," adding, "Our first guests, Lee Je-hoon and Pyo Ye-jin, will join to show stellar chemistry. This winter we will again fill viewers' spare moments with even tighter chemistry, thrilling niche missions and a variety of 'niche friends' lining up to appear." Above all, the prospect of an all-time great team play in the new lineup following the 30 'niche friends' who delivered strong impact in previous seasons — Cha Seung-won and Gong Myoung; Son Suk-ku and Kim Da-mi; Jo Yeo-jung and Jo Jung-suk — heightens curiosity. Accordingly, the top duo from Taxi Driver, Lee Je-hoon and Pyo Ye-jin, will appear as the first 'niche friends,' powerfully opening season 4.
At the same time, the main poster for Whenever Possible was released, drawing attention. The poster shows the MC duo who return with a warm vibe, Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok, catching the eye. Their bright smiles as they welcome the new season, paired with the phrase "We gift warm luck during the brief pockets of time in your daily life," raise expectations for their arrival to warmly fill this winter's cold. In addition, with Yoo Jae-suk and Yoo Yeon-seok wearing goods bags and ready to execute niche attacks, their energetic appearances boost anticipation over which 'niche owners' and 'niche friends' will be waiting for them this time.
Meanwhile, the Tuesday healing variety show Whenever Possible, which promises even stronger everyday-close laughter bombardment, is scheduled to air on Tuesday, Dec. 16 at 9 p.m.
