SHINee member Minho revealed the full story behind the 'SM London running incident.'
On the evening of the 2nd, production company Theo released episode 117 of Salon Drip featuring SHINee's Minho on its official YouTube channel. In the video titled "SM visual center talks about SM 5 centers," SHINee's Minho met Salon Drip host Jang Doyoun and talked.
Minho, who usually spends time on various sports, has been noted as an 'athlete idol' and 'exercise idol.' In particular, he recently became absorbed in running. In this context, footage of him enjoying running with senior and junior artists from his agency SM Entertainment at the agency's London concert also became a hot topic.
Regarding this, he said, "Once I started running, I really liked it. So I said, by the power of seniors, let's gather our juniors. To be honest, I said let's run first (the juniors) themselves," expressing his frustration at juniors who complained they were tired after running with Minho.
In response, Jang Doyoun asked, "Do you have that ability? To tell the difference between someone joking and someone being sincere," and Minho replied, "Honestly, I don't have that in exercise," looking embarrassed. Minho revealed, "The SM London running group originally started with EXO's Kai. Kai asked me to run with him. Kai said he had been running lately and suggested we run together, and Changmin hyung had originally been running with me. The youngest, NCT's Wish Sion, also joined."
He continued, "Sion originally ran well. It may be my one-sided view, but he seemed happy. He also asked me to run together. But he canceled three times himself. Are you watching, kid? I accommodated him every time," he said to the camera in frustration. He also appealed, "It wasn't me who suggested running first; he suggested it. He said, 'Hyung, shall we run together?' So I proposed we do it on your day off because you're so busy."
