The girl group FRUITS ZIPPER's debut first Asia tour concluded successfully.
FRUITS ZIPPER (Tsukiashi Amane, Chinzei Suzuka, Sakurai Yui, Nakagawa Runa, Manaka Mana, Matsumoto Karen, Hayase Noel) on the 29th held the Asia tour 'FRUITS ZIPPER 1st ASIA TOUR 2025 "We are FRUITS ZIPPER"' (hereafter "We are FRUITS ZIPPER") at Donghae Culture and Arts Center, Kwangwoon University in Seoul and met with domestic fans.
"We are FRUITS ZIPPER" was FRUITS ZIPPER's first Asia tour since debut, and after Taipei and Shanghai they capped it off in Seoul.
That day FRUITS ZIPPER opened the main performance with the title track 'かがみ' from their 15th digital single released this January. FRUITS ZIPPER showed special affection for domestic fans by changing some lyrics and greeting them with "Hello!"
FRUITS ZIPPER then heightened the concert's momentum with varied charms, performing 'ぴゅあいんざわるど', which surpassed 10 million views on YouTube music videos, and 'はちゃめちゃちゃライフ!', selected as the theme song for the popular Japanese animation Crayon Shin-chan.
FRUITS ZIPPER delivered distinctive performances of major singles including 'RADIO GALAXY', 'We are Frontier', 'Re→TRY & FLY', as well as 'わたしの一番かわいいところ', which achieved 3 billion cumulative plays on the global short-form platform TikTok, and the group's signature song 'NEW KAWAII', drawing loud cheers from fans.
In this way FRUITS ZIPPER offered singular energy with a rich setlist of as many as 19 songs, including two encore songs. After the main performance, FRUITS ZIPPER held a send-off event and personally thanked each fan who attended.
Meanwhile, FRUITS ZIPPER is a seven-member girl group that debuted in April 2022 through Asobisystem's global idol discovery and training project KAWAII LAB. With the slogan "from Harajuku to the world," they are spreading "NEW KAWAII" worldwide centered on Harajuku, a fashion street where diverse cultures fuse and individuality overflows.
With overwhelming support from Generation Z, FRUITS ZIPPER won the Japan Record Awards' Best New Artist award in December of the same year with their first single 'わたしの一番かわいいところ'. After that, FRUITS ZIPPER solidified their position as a trending group by conducting a hall tour across 12 cities nationwide in Japan in 2024 and received the Excellent Work Award at the Japan Record Awards for their first studio album 'NEW KAWAII'.
Accordingly, FRUITS ZIPPER will make their first appearance on Japan's NHK year-end special program Kohaku Uta Gassen on Dec. 31, a barometer of popular appeal in the country, and will also enter Tokyo Dome, the mecca of Japan's concert scene, in Feb. 2026.
