"An irreplaceable team", "an unreplicable team", "a team remembered steadily for a long time."
The Disney+ documentary series 'SEVENTEEN: OUR CHAPTER', which looks back on the group's (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, THE 8, Mingyu, Dokyeom, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) 10‑year journey, drew a touching full stop on the 28th of last month.
The final episode, which began with the question "What kind of group do you hope to be remembered as?", gauges the answer by highlighting the members' dedication and affection for SEVENTEEN. In the belief that "all 13 of us are different (in temperament) but look in the same direction" (Hoshi·Dino), they resolved that "there are still many days left, so (for now) it's a new beginning" (Dokyeom). And even while practicing so intensely they could hardly hold themselves together, they did not lose the pride of "it's cool that even after 10 years we're working this hard" (Joshua).
The deep friendship among the members also stood out. Woozi, who has worked on team albums since debut, moved viewers by saying, "I'm just happy when I'm with the members," and "we have already become numb to each other. It was possible because we can understand and embrace one another. That's why this relationship is very precious." From the submerged bridge stage, which they were the first K‑pop artist to perform on, to the fierce process of preparing it, to the unpretentious daily life the members spend together, each scene revealed the growth engine that made SEVENTEEN stand tall as a 'Super IDOL.'
At the end of the episode, the members' answers to the opening question were delivered. "There will be no team like this in the future" (S.Coups), "an amazing team" (Joshua), "an unreplicable team" (Jun), "nice" (Hoshi), "a team that brings up only good memories" (Wonwoo), "any expression would be grand. SEVENTEEN is just 'us'" (Woozi), "an irreplaceable team" (THE 8), "a team remembered steadily for a long time" (Mingyu), "I always smiled when I saw them" (Dokyeom), "a team that really works hard and is really good" (Seungkwan), "it's an honor just to be remembered" (Vernon), "this team is real" (Dino) — each member's aspiration made their future even more anticipated.
Composed of four episodes and released one episode a week, 'SEVENTEEN: OUR CHAPTER' honestly captured sides of SEVENTEEN never seen anywhere else and was praised by global fans. Online reactions poured in, saying, "It's good because it's a work that talks about how to move forward, not about how hard it has been until now," and, "Watching the documentary made me realize again why I love SEVENTEEN."
SEVENTEEN won three awards — 'FAN'S CHOICE', 'BEST MALE GROUP', and 'BEST DANCE PERFORMANCE MALE GROUP' — at the '2025 MAMA AWARDS' held at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium on Nov. 28–29.
They opened the curtain for 'SEVENTEEN WORLD TOUR [NEW_]' at Bunterin Dome Nagoya on the 27th and 29–30 of the same month, and will continue the tour at Kyocera Dome Osaka on Dec. 4 and 6–7, Tokyo Dome on Dec. 11–12, and Fukuoka PayPay Dome on Dec. 20–21. They will also visit large stadiums in Singapore, Bangkok, and Bulacan to meet local fans in March next year.
