Actor Lee Si-young reposted a newborn born art photo that had sparked controversy over "turning a baby into a decoration."
On Dec. 1, according to the entertainment industry and others, Lee Si-young the previous day posted several photos and videos on her social media (SNS) along with the caption, "Christmas has come to our house."
The released photos included the finished born art shot of Lee Si-young's daughter, dressed in a Santa hat and outfit and photographed with a Christmas tree and gift boxes.
Earlier, on the 21st, Lee Si-young posted on SNS a born art video of a 17-day-old baby in a Santa outfit laid in a Christmas decoration prop box, stirring controversy.
As Lee Si-young even added the phrase, "How about this as this year's Christmas ornament (decoration)," criticism followed, including, "It is uncomfortable to stage a newborn like a decoration," and "The staging is excessive."
Amid the baby-as-decoration controversy, Lee Si-young deleted the video after one day. Without issuing a separate position, she later reposted the born art.
