Cumulative album shipments surpass 20 million. Tour attendance nears 1.5 million. Winner of the 2025 MAMA Awards grand prize (FANS' CHOICE OF THE YEAR). On Nov. 30, the group ENHYPEN, celebrating its fifth debut anniversary, reached another milestone. The accomplishments these artists have achieved since stepping into the music scene in 2020 with the ambition "to connect people to people and worlds to worlds through music" are dazzling.
According to HYBE Music Group label Belift Lab Inc., ENHYPEN (Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Ni-ki) has exceeded 20.33 million cumulative album shipments from releases in Korea and Japan to date. Of their total 16 albums, eight have sold more than 1 million copies. In particular, the full-length second album ROMANCE : UNTOLD earned ENHYPEN their first "triple million-seller" title, and mini album 5 ORANGE BLOOD and mini album 6 DESIRE : UNLEASH each achieved "double million-seller" status.
Their ticket power was also formidable. During three world tour series (MANIFESTO, FATE, WALK THE LINE), ENHYPEN performed 96 shows and created precious memories with a combined 1.5 million ENGENE (the fandom name). ENHYPEN said, "We were able to come this far thanks to ENGENE members. We will keep aiming higher and continue working hard without getting tired."
The following are Q&A responses ENHYPEN shared through their agency Belift Lab Inc.
Q. How do you feel about celebrating your fifth debut anniversary?
Jungwon: Looking back on the past five years, I feel like we really handled a lot of schedules. We were able to come this far thanks to ENGENE and the members, and we will keep aiming higher and continue working hard without getting tired.
Jake: During that time, I created precious moments with the members and ENGENE, and it was a meaningful period in which I learned a lot about myself. I want to continue building good memories with ENGENE for a long time and enjoy our activities.
Sunoo: Time passed in the blink of an eye. While promoting as ENHYPEN, I accumulated so many memories and experiences, and I am very grateful. Because of these precious days, I feel even more excited about the future.
Q. If you had to pick the most memorable moment, what would it be?
Heeseung: The first world tour, MANIFESTO, is the most memorable. Meeting ENGENE members around the world in person made me feel increasingly happy as the shows went on.
Jay: The day we met tens of thousands of audience members at a K-pop festival in Germany in 2022 stands out the most. Because we debuted during the pandemic, that was the first time we experienced so many people cheering for us.
Sunghoon: I vividly remember the day ENHYPEN was formed through I-LAND. It was an emotional moment because a dream I had wished for a long time had come true.
Ni-ki: Coachella in April this year remains the most intense memory. It was a stage created by bringing together everyone's opinions, and it was a highly rewarding experience.
Q. When did you feel ENHYPEN's teamwork grew stronger?
Heeseung: I think our relationship grew stronger when we had our first team dinner together after debut. Talking together allowed us to understand each other more deeply.
Jake: Every time we go on stage and show good chemistry, I feel we've gotten much closer. It especially becomes clear on days when our seven-member synchronized choreography comes together well.
Sunoo: Preparing for large projects like world tours and festivals, I felt our unity grow over time. So I often feel the closeness with members during practice.
Ni-ki: For me, Coachella brought many realizations. Preparing the show and having honest conversations together seemed to make our relationships even stronger.
Q. What do you think ENHYPEN will look like five years from now?
Jungwon: I hope everyone has grown into admirable adults. Personally, I aim to have developed into a singer who leaves a mark on the K-pop scene.
Jay: I hope that five years from now we are all still active and healthy as we are now. I also hope we become a senior group that sets an example and has a good influence on younger artists.
Sunghoon: As has been the case so far, I think by our 10th anniversary the members will have grown remarkably. Won't we be showing ENGENE our best selves as we achieve what we want to accomplish?
Q. A message to ENGENE who have supported ENHYPEN
Jungwon: Thank you for teaching me what love is. Five years may seem long, but for me it felt short. Please continue to support us!
Heeseung: ENGENE, thank you for always being by our side. Let's fill the days we create together from now on with fun and smiles.
Jay: ENGENE~ The past five years have been truly happy. There is nothing more important in life than happiness, so I hope every day with ENHYPEN is full of smiles!
Jake: I am able to continue my activities thanks to the support of ENGENE. Thank you for being with us in hard times and happy times, and we will repay you by showing our best selves. Thank you.
Sunghoon: Thank you for always giving me great support so I can live and work harder. I will devote more effort for ENGENE from now on, so please watch over us.
Sunoo: Thank you for always supporting us. We will repay the love we received by becoming artists who make ENGENE proud wherever and whenever.
Ni-ki: We sincerely thank you for giving us boundless affection. All seven of us are practicing hard so we can show better music and performances, so please look forward to it.
