Actor Choo Young-Woo becomes the "love doctor."
Choo Young-Woo has confirmed he will appear in the Genie TV original drama "Love Doctor," to be released in 2026 (writer Min Hyo-jung, director Ahn Pan-seok).
"Love Doctor" depicts the story of doctoral student Park Min-jae (played by Choo Young-Woo), who was a high school swimmer but lost one leg to illness, and master's student Im Yu-jin (played by Kim So-hyun), who lost her career path, wandered, and then found a new path. It is expected to bring excitement to home viewers as a spicy, bitter and sweet romance that blooms in a robotics laboratory.
In the drama, Choo Young-Woo plays doctoral student Park Min-jae, who found a new life in robotics after his dream was cut short. Having met robotics at the end of despair, Park Min-jae continues his research diligently and silently. Prone to overthinking and fearful of his wounds, he is awkward at expressing emotions, and when Im Yu-jin appears before him, he faces a life-changing transformation.
