'Last Summer' actor Lee Jae-wook and Choi Seong-eun embark on a heart-wrenching winter mountain hike.
Tonight (30th) at 9:20 p.m., in episode 10 of the KBS 2TV Saturday-Sunday miniseries 'Last Summer' (written by Jeon Yu-ri, directed by Min Yeon-hong), Baek Do-ha (played by Lee Jae-wook) and Song Ha-gyeong (played by Choi Seong-eun) directly confront matters related to Baek Do-young (played by Lee Jae-wook),
Earlier, Do-ha and Ha-gyeong confirmed their feelings for each other after 17 years of coming back around, and finally began dating. The sweetness was brief as Do-ha left for the United States upon hearing news about Do-young. Ha-gyeong also booked a flight to the United States to go to Do-ha and arrived at the airport. At that moment Do-ha appeared and said, "I brought him, Baek Do-young," an ending that exploded viewers' curiosity.
In the released stills, Do-ha and Ha-gyeong face each other against the backdrop of a snow-covered mountain where a cold winter wind blows. The two, dressed in thick winter jumpers, share an intense gaze while relying on each other's warmth in the sparsely populated mountain.
In particular, Ha-gyeong's eyes as she looks at Do-ha are filled with tenderness and, along with that, deep trust in him, which makes viewers' hearts ache. Do-ha likewise does not avoid Ha-gyeong's gaze and looks at her earnestly, foreshadowing a weighty emotional arc.
This winter hike holds more than just a simple date for the two, raising expectations. It is a journey to resolve the final task related to Do-young, a person who remains a painful reminder and a debt of the heart for both Do-ha and Ha-gyeong.
Until now, trapped in their respective guilt and sorrow surrounding Do-young's death, Do-ha and Ha-gyeong will at last confront the past head-on through this hike.
