Comedian Yoon Jung-soo ties the knot with broadcaster and former reporter Won Ja-hyun.
Yoon Jung-soo and Won Ja-hyun will hold a private wedding today (30th) at a hotel in Gangnam, Seoul, attended only by family and close acquaintances. The two have already registered their marriage and are legally married.
Yoon Jung-soo recently posted tuxedo photos on his social media and said, "Having met a precious connection, it really feels like I am finally leaving. I will do my best," expressing his feelings about the marriage. Ahead of the wedding, he lost about 16 kg, dropping from 105 kg to 89 kg, showing the look of a new groom.
The bride-to-be, Won Ja-hyun, born in 1983, worked as a KBS reporter, Weather News global weather jockey, and traffic caster, and currently works as a pilates instructor. Won Ja-hyun also shared her emotional feelings on the day before the wedding, the 29th, saying, "In my life I often wondered, 'Will a moment called marriage ever come to my life?' I thought it might never come, but that day has finally arrived for me with such great excitement."
She added, "Meeting oppa was the greatest miracle and blessing in my life to the point that I wondered how someone like this could come into my life," and expressed affection, saying, "Mr. Yoon Jung-soo, who is taking me, I cannot express it all in words… I love you so much and I am grateful."
The couple drew attention as parts of their dating and wedding preparations were revealed on TV CHOSUN's variety show "Joseon's romantic,". On the show, Yoon Jung-soo said, "At first the excitement was great, but now the sense of responsibility is greater. I only have the desire to do well," revealing his feelings as he prepared for the wedding.
The wedding will be emceed by Nam Chang-hee, who co-hosts KBS CoolFM's "Mr. Radio," and Kim Sook, who teamed up as a mock couple on the show "With You." Kim Sook had earlier promised, "I will somehow attend the wedding," showing her loyalty.
Meanwhile, Yoon Jung-soo has steadily received love since his debut through his activities on variety shows and radio. Many blessings are pouring in for the Yoon Jung-soo–Won Ja-hyun couple, who officially become husband and wife today.
