Kyuhyun raised expectations for Single's Inferno 5.
On the 30th, a new video titled "Kyuhyun's last kiss, and Yeong-seok watching it" was released on Netflix Korea's official YouTube channel.
That day Yoo Byung-jae asked Kyuhyun, "You were part of the first four seasons, and you've finished filming the next season that hasn't been released yet, right? You said you feel Single's Inferno is like a dating textbook, didn't you?"
Kyuhyun replied, "Did I say that? Uh…. " and trailed off, and producer Na Young-seok reacted in disbelief, "You idiot, without thinking at all. How many shows are you sitting on as a panelist?"
When asked to reveal spoilers for Single's Inferno season 5, Kyuhyun said, "Season 1 had such an impact, and in season 2 it blew up when Dex appeared. Season 3 blew up again because Lee Kwan-hee called out 'that one, that one, that kid,' and season 4 did well because Sian unleashed so much charm."
Kyuhyun said, "For season 5 I honestly thought, what more could there be? I don't like saying things like this. Is it stale? But this is legendary."
Yoo Byung-jae also acknowledged, "Kyuhyun really doesn't say things like this. He doesn't even do this (MSG). He just speaks plainly," and Kyuhyun said, "I don't get ahead of myself, but watching that I really shouted."
Kyuhyun added, "They lock people on an island and make them date. In reality, people have phones and can talk to friends, so everything gets resolved if that's possible, but on the show it doesn't. You don't want to see this person but you keep seeing them. There's also a power play between male exits and female exits. There are so many entertaining elements this time."
Meanwhile, Netflix's variety show Single's Inferno 5 is scheduled to be released in January next year.
