Actor Bae Yu-ram drew attention with his realistic acting in "Taxi Driver 3."
On the 28th and 29th, in episodes 3 and 4 of the SBS Friday-Saturday drama "Taxi Driver 3" (writer Oh Sang-ho, director Kang Bo-seung), Bae Yu-ram played Mujigae Transportation engineer "Section chief Park (Park Jin-eon)."
In episode 3, Section chief Park and Chief Choi (played by Jang Hyuk-jin) went to see purchasing dealer Manager Ko (played by Jung Si-heon) to sell a call van. When Manager Ko tried to find faults, Park answered honestly with an innocent expression, drawing laughter from viewers. Later, Manager Ko took the car under the pretext of a road test and disappeared, and the two bickered without realizing they had been swindled, providing viewers with both amusement and a touching sense of pathos.
Meanwhile, in episode 4, Section chief Park secretly infiltrated a high-end whiskey bar with Chief Choi to extract information about Cha Byung-jin (played by Yoon Si-yoon). The two who infiltrated the bar squabbled, grabbing each other by the collars. Then, when Park and Chief Choi entered the room where Cha Byung-jin was, they apologized tensely and left the room. They had entered to install a tiny camera where Cha Byung-jin was engaging in corrupt activities. The twist delivered by the dumb-and-dumber-like Park and Chief Choi amplified the catharsis that viewers felt.
In this way, Bae Yu-ram, following season 2, adds fun to the drama in season 3 with a perfect enemy chemistry with Jang Hyuk-jin. In every scene, he elevated the character's appeal with natural everyday acting and detailed emotional expression. Expectations are growing for how Bae Yu-ram will captivate viewers with future performances.
Starring Bae Yu-ram, Lee Je-hoon, Kim Eui-sung, Pyo Ye-jin and Jang Hyuk-jin, "Taxi Driver 3" airs every Friday at 9:50 p.m. and Saturday at 9:45 p.m.
