The group BOYNEXTDOOR won a valuable trophy at the 2025 MAMA AWARDS.
BOYNEXTDOOR(Seongho, Liu, Myeong Jaehyun, Taesan, Ihan, Unhak) won the "Favorite Male Group" (FAVORITE MALE GROUP) at the 2025 MAMA AWARDS held at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium on the 28th. This award is given to artists who have captivated global music fans with outstanding musicality and popularity.
BOYNEXTDOOR said, "We were able to receive this award thanks to ONEDOOR (the fandom name). We will show you good music so we can give hope to many people and become a group that covers the world with love." They then offered comfort in Chinese, saying, "I remember all of you who always give good influence. I hope you overcome difficulties soon and recover your daily life."
That day BOYNEXTDOOR presented stages for the digital single "오늘만 I LOVE YOU" and the mini fifth album title track "Hollywood Action" under the theme "Mnet Movie Awards." The six members, nominated as "Best Scene Stealer" in the fictional film festival "Mnet Movie Awards," delivered performances like scenes from romance, thriller and action films. After the "오늘만 I LOVE YOU" performance, the screen turned black and white and the stage transformed into a film set, adding fresh fun to the production.
BOYNEXTDOOR was very active this year, releasing three new songs domestically alone. With "오늘만 I LOVE YOU," they enjoyed long-running popularity on various streaming charts, and both mini fourth album "No Genre" and mini fifth album "The Action" easily surpassed first-week sales (album sales in the week following release) of 1 million, marking a third consecutive million-selling album following mini third album "19.99." In addition, "The Action" entered the Billboard 200, the Billboard main album chart, at No. 40 (Nov. 8), continuing a streak of five consecutive albums charting.
BOYNEXTDOOR will continue to meet their global fandom on various year-end special stages. On Dec. 13 they will perform at the 2025 Music Bank Global Festival in Japan, on Dec. 20 at The 17th Melon Music Awards, MMA2025 (2025 Melon Music Awards, MMA2025), on Dec. 25 at the 2025 SBS Gayo Daejeon, and on Dec. 27 at Japan's largest year-end festival, COUNTDOWN JAPAN 25
