Composer Joo Young-hoon reveals a past when his father insulted him as "mad dog."
On the 29th broadcast, MBN variety show "Sokpulishow Dongchimi" at the end featured a preview of next week's episode. In the preview, the cast talked about family conflicts and wounds under the theme "like father, like son."
In the released video, Joo Young-hoon said "My father thought all the music in the world was satanic, devil music," and "he called me 'this mad dog,'" delivering a shocking remark. He went on, "So I retorted, 'Isn't my father the devil?'" and candidly confessed the extreme conflict with his father.
This year, 56-year-old Joo Young-hoon is a hit composer who has worked with numerous stars such as Turbo, Uhm Jung-hwa, KOYOTE, and Kim Hyun-jung. He married actress Lee Yoon-mi in 2006 and has a daughter, Joo Ra-el.
Meanwhile, the consolation program that offers refreshing dongchimi that floats a thin layer of ice on a stifled heart, "Sokpulishow Dongchimi," airs every Saturday at 11 p.m. on MBN.<
