The group NMIXX, which displayed 'n' kinds of charms on stage, has, as a pioneer on stage, begun a full-fledged voyage to lead NSWERs around the world and head toward MixTopia.
NMIXX (Lily, Haewon, Seolyun, Bae, Jiwoo, Gyujin) held their first world tour, "EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER," on the 29th and 30th over two days at Incheon Inspire Arena.
"EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER" was a performance meaning NMIXX and NSWER's first journey and the beginning of new pioneering toward an unknown world, encapsulating their musical story along the path toward "MixTopia" (MIXXTOPIA), the destination of the adventure and a new starting point.
That day NMIXX opened their first solo concert with their debut song "O.O" and presented stages including their first group Melon Top 100 top-10 entry "Love Me Like This," "High Horse," which ranked No. 2 on Billboard's "Best K-pop Songs of the first half of 2025," and the new song "Blue Valentine," which topped Melon's Top 100 daily and weekly charts as their debut first.
They also offered about 27 NMIXX songs in band live performances, including widely loved title tracks such as "See that?" (Byeolbyeolbyeol), "DASH," "KNOW ABOUT ME," and album tracks showcasing the group's character such as "Run for Roses" and "Soñar (Breaker)".
Songs such as "Shape of Love," "Red light sign, but we go," "Slingshot," "Reality Hurts," and "ADOR U" were revealed on stage for the first time through their first world tour, and through diverse stages NMIXX showcased the true value of their signature genre "MIXX POP."
This setlist was not a simple lineup of songs but represented a narrative of going beyond the "limits of reality" (ZERO) to a new world "FRONTIER." Waking from a chaotic reality ("O.O"), they were reborn like a phoenix ("Phoenix") and began the adventure, broke down the walls of the world ("Break The Wall"), pioneered the path with our own code ("PAXXWORD"), rose like a butterfly ("Papillon") to gain propulsion ("Slingshot") and threw the dice of fate ("DICE"). NMIXX presented a perfect narrative through an encore conveying the promise to keep moving on ("Moving On") and their love for fans. Particularly, the fact that this performance was "EPISODE 1" underscored that NMIXX's voyage is not the end but the beginning.
If they had shown only the narrative it would have been merely a story, but NMIXX proved they are a 'masterful vocal group,' a 'hexagonal girl group,' and an 'all-member ace group' by presenting a total of 27 songs including four encore songs in band live. As NMIXX's identity, "Mix pop," in which genres shift sharply within a single song, met band live, the dynamic atmosphere at the moment genres shifted to band live rather than MR was maximized. Even amid intense choreography, NMIXX pierced the much stronger and majestic band sound with solid vocal power and singing ability, and they freely used ad-libs during intense choreography, proving they are a skilled group.
After finishing the first world tour performance, Lily said, "It's been almost four years since our debut, and I don't know how much strength I have gained thanks to NSWERs' endless support. It may sound a bit unrealistic, but I hope you will stay by our side forever," and Haewon said, "We will try to become artists you won't be ashamed of and will want to boast about wherever you go. Please watch over us whether near or far."
Seolyun said, "I wanted to show a better stage, and I'm disappointed that I made many mistakes, but I hope you enjoyed it," and Bae, with reddened eyes, said, "The love exchanged between fans and artists seems like a kind of love that's hard to express in words. So I'm truly grateful. I will cherish this precious love."
Jiwoo expressed her gratitude, saying, "Thank you for letting me hold my first concert on such a big stage. Seeing NSWERs' happy faces makes me so happy. I will continue to try to give you bright smiles and happiness," and Gyujin said, "This concert was my goal and dream, something that existed only in imagination, so thank you for making it real. It feels like proof of the path we've run and all the efforts we've made so far. I will long-run so that I can always give only happy energy and show only good sides, so I hope you will join me."
Through this "ZERO FRONTIER," NMIXX proved that their music is not merely a genre experiment called "Mix pop" but an art form with solid storytelling. NMIXX's great voyage, which has just lifted anchor, already makes one eager for the next frontier they will pioneer.
