He secured a purchase contract for 500 units and promised to pay the deposit the next day to prevent Dabontech's bankruptcy. The relief was short-lived; next, Hyeon Jun-mu (Mu Jin-seong) barged into Typhoon Family. He had obtained the guarantee letter stamped by Taepung from the father Pyo Bak-ho (Kim Sang-ho). Because Taepung failed to bring the IOU by the deadline, he had to give up the president's position to protect his employees' livelihoods. Even so, he fulfilled his final duties as president to the end. Buying time, he quickly signed the Dabontech payment approval form so Hyeon Jun-mu could not invalidate the deal by using Taepung's resignation as a pretext.
But those efforts were thwarted by Hyeon Jun-mu's interference. Hyeon Jun-mu, who was conspiring with a foreign company, used his influence to have the bank close early and block bill payments. The remaining employees at Typhoon Family, despite the slow processing by President Hyeon Jun-mu and Pyo Sang-seon, barely managed to deliver the deposit, but Dabontech ultimately went bankrupt without being able to use the prepared funds. The factory machines were stopped with seizure tags attached, and the faces of Song-jung's father and the employees, who lost their livelihoods in an instant, were filled with emptiness and despair.
Meanwhile, Taepung sensed suspicious movements by Hyeon Jun-mu and a foreign company official named Mark, whom he met at the bank. He was convinced there would be documents somewhere at Pyo Sang-seon that could answer his questions. To uncover Hyeon Jun-mu's shady scheme, "Typhoon Family" moved. While Song-jung distracted Pyo Sang-seon's employees, O Mi-seon (Kim Min-ha) stole a key, and with the help of Gu Myung-gwan (Kim Song-il), who had been assigned as Pyo Sang-seon security, they succeeded in entering the company.
Taepung, Mi-seon and Go Ma-jin (Lee Chang-hoon) searched every corner of Pyo Sang-seon's office. As tension peaked and they reached the president's office, they encountered an unexpected person: Cha Seon-taek (Kim Jae-hwa), who had been forced out of a juice company and was working as a cleaner at Dabontech thanks to Song-jung's consideration. Having secretly overheard the "Typhoon Family" operation the previous day, he judged that important documents would be in the president's office and had infiltrated first. Guards soon rushed in and a fight broke out. When a guard swung a baton toward Mi-seon and Seon-taek, Taepung used his father's nameplate, which had been left in a corner of the office, to block it. With the addition of Marine Corps veteran Ma-jin, they barely escaped from the Pyo Sang-seon building.
Once outside catching their breath, the father's nameplate in Taepung's hands cracked in shock and split in two. Hidden inside was a sheet of paper: the very document everyone had been looking for, the IOU proving that Pyo Sang-seon had borrowed money from Typhoon Family. With this recovered IOU, anticipation is rising over how Taepung will reclaim the Typhoon Family he lost in the "final showdown."
