The group's SEVENTEEN (S.Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, THE 8, Mingyu, DK, Seungkwan, Vernon, Dino) official character "MINITEEN" returns as a holiday season themed pop-up.
On the 29th, HYBE Music Group label PLEDIS Entertainment Co. said the second "MINITEEN" pop-up "HOLIDAY with MINITEEN POP-UP" will be held for two weeks from Dec. 9 to Dec. 22 at SPACE S1 in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.
The pop-up is decorated with the concept of "MINITEEN Village." The first area greeting visitors, "Village Square," features a large tree to amplify the year-end atmosphere. "MINITEEN Holiday House" is arranged with cute props, merch and photo zones, and the "Gift Shop" sells "MINITEEN" holiday-themed merch. In addition, a variety of attractions such as 13 kinds of "MINITEEN" themed cookies and beverage menus offered at the collaboration cafe "Strengths Coffee," and a Photoism booth where fans can take four-shot photos with the characters, are expected to give fans special memories.
The holiday-themed "MINITEEN" merch is also drawing attention. From keyrings to dolls, coasters, rugs, plates, stickers and cards, products that combine cuteness and practicality will be available. The merch can be purchased online through Weverse Shop as well as at the offline pop-up.
Seventeen previously posted an animation on its official YouTube channel previewing the "MINITEEN" pop-up, receiving a positive response. The video shows the characters, all dressed up in holiday spirit, preparing for a party. At the end of the animation, a "A Very Nice Holiday" card addressed to CARAT (the fandom name) appears, adding a warm sentiment.
"MINITEEN" are characters in which SEVENTEEN members directly participated in production, reflecting each member's tastes and personalities. Starting in Seoul in June, the first pop-up "MINITEEN HOUSE PARTY" was held in 18 cities worldwide, including Bangkok, Beijing, Chicago, New York, Osaka and London, attracting a cumulative 250,000 visitors and gaining widespread love.
