Kim Woo-bin, who is soon to be married, evoked laughter from viewers as he experienced both humiliation and seasickness in the middle of the Mexican sea.
On the 28th episode of the tvN variety show 'Kong Simeundae Kong Naseo Useumpang Haengbokpang Overseas Exploration' (directed by Na Young-seok, Ha Mu-seong, Shim Eun-jung, hereafter 'KongKongPangPang') episode 7 continued the Mexico free travel story of the three close friends Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Woo-bin, Doh Kyung Soo.
The three paid $40 per person for the experience and set out on a whale shark tour. Although they gasped in admiration when they encountered an overwhelmingly large whale shark on the emerald sea, a hellish time soon followed. A sudden, violent wave rocked the boat, drenching them with seawater and soaking the bag that contained their belongings.
Amid the continuing flooding, Kim Woo-bin lost his grip on the boat and rolled inward, suffering a humiliating fall. Seeing this, Lee Kwang-soo revealed, "It was the most pitiful-looking thing I have seen in my life," prompting peals of laughter.
After encountering a giant whale shark in the emerald sea, Kim Woo-bin finally retched. The more-than-five-hour boat ride and heavy waves caused a massive bout of seasickness.
Lee Kwang-soo also moved to the back seat, complaining, "I'm having a really hard time too." Kim Woo-bin, groaning, said, "I feel like I might throw up any second. I'm in so much pain," then looked at the untroubled Doh Kyung Soo and asked, "You're really amazing. Are you okay?" Doh Kyung Soo calmly replied, "I felt a little earlier too," leaving the two feeling deflated.
Ultimately Kim Woo-bin declared, "I don't think I'll ever come here again," which provoked laughter from viewers.
Meanwhile, 'KongKongPangPang' is a variety show capturing the three's 100% pure Mexico free travel and airs every Friday at 8:40 p.m. <
