Group Girls' Day alumna and actress Bang Min-Ah and On Juwan are tying the knot.
Bang Min-Ah and On Juwan will hold a wedding in Bali, Indonesia, on the 29th with only family in attendance.
Bang Min-Ah and On Juwan are getting married without any dating rumors. In July, through their agencies they said, "Mr. On Juwan and Ms. Bang Min-Ah, after a serious courtship, have decided to spend their lives together this November," announcing their engagement.
Bang Min-Ah and On Juwan first met on the 2016 SBS drama Beautiful Gong Shim. The two, who first formed a connection through that work, are reported to have reunited and grown closer during the musical "Those Days." It is said that when Bang Min-Ah suffered the loss of her father, On Juwan stayed by her side throughout the funeral period to comfort her.
Having entered marriage with trust and faith, Bang Min-Ah and On Juwan said, "We ask for warm blessings and support for the two of us as we begin the second chapter of our lives as a married couple."
Their wedding will be held abroad rather than domestically. It is reported that they will hold the ceremony in Bali, Indonesia, with only family in attendance, and both sides declined to elaborate, saying, "It is difficult to confirm the details. We ask for your understanding."
It drew attention that Girls' Day members are also reportedly not attending. Because the ceremony will be held simply with only family in attendance, acquaintances in the entertainment industry, including Girls' Day members, were not invited.
Min-Ah debuted in 2010 as a member of the group Girls' Day and gained popularity by releasing various hit songs. Beginning with the 2011 sitcom Vampire Idol, she pursued acting alongside music and appeared in the drama Beautiful Gong Shim, The Good Guy, Check Out the Event, Delivery Man, the musical "Those Days," "Tick, Tick... Boom!" and others.
On Juwan debuted in 2002 with the drama The Age of Wanderers and has appeared in films such as Ballet School, Life or Death, Obsessed, the Honest Candidate series, and in dramas including My Love by My Side, Punch, Beautiful Gong Shim, Man Who Prepares the Table, The Penthouse and Moon in The Day.
