Rosé's "APT." was honored as "Song of the Year."
On the 28th at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium, at the 2025 MAMA AWARDS (hereafter "2025 MAMA"), Rosé and Bruno Mars' duet "APT." (APT.) won the top prize in the Song of the Year institutional sector.
Rosé, who received the trophy, said in a video, "I have received a big award, and I want to thank the fans who gave so much love this year and the songwriters and staff who worked hard to bring the music into the world," and added, "I will continue to be an artist who shows great music."
Rosé's "APT." set records on music charts worldwide immediately after its release, creating a sensation. It also previously advanced Korea's stature by becoming the first K-pop artist to win the top Song of the Year prize at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards, one of the four major U.S. popular music award shows.
In addition, at the Grammy Awards, considered the highest authority in the U.S. popular music world, it was listed in the Song of the Year, Record of the Year, and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance institutional sectors, setting a milestone as the first K-pop female artist to be nominated in two main award categories.
Meanwhile, Rosé is continuing more active activities, including performing dates on Blackpink's solo concert "DEADLINE" world tour.
