TWICE unit Misamo (MISAMO) heats up fans with their first Japanese full-length album PLAY and the title track Confetti.
TWICE unit group Misamo will release their first Japanese full album PLAY on Feb. 4, 2026. JYP Entertainment on Nov. 27 posted the tracklist and concept photos on TWICE's official Japanese social media channels in the afternoon, raising expectations.
In the concept photos, Mina, Sana and Momo showcased a charisma that alternated between strength and softness, capturing fans' attention. They added a stylish aura with glamorous styling and conveyed photogenic charm with chic, steely gazes.
According to the tracklist, the new release includes a total of 12 songs, led by the title track Confetti, Hmm, Not a Goodbye, Deep Eden, Red Diamond, Catch My Eye, Momo's Kitty, Sana's Ma Cherry, Mina's Turning Tables, the mini 2nd EP title track Identity, the debut song Do not touch, and Message. Solo songs that reflect the three members' musical colors add variety, and Catch My Eye and Red Diamond, which were performed on the dome tour MISAMO JAPAN DOME TOUR 2024 "HAUTE COUTURE", are included, delighting fans.
Misamo's first full-length record PLAY is the finale of a trilogy that began with the debut album Masterpiece in July 2023 and continued with the mini 2nd EP HAUTE COUTURE in Nov. 2024. Having shown a classical and sensual palette in the previous work, attention is focused on what new colors Misamo will present with this new release.
Meanwhile, TWICE Misamo, composed of Mina, Sana and Momo, is TWICE's first unit group and made their official local debut in Japan with the Japanese mini 1st EP Masterpiece in July 2023. Their releases swept major Japanese charts such as Oricon, Billboard Japan and Tower Records, and the dome tour staged as part of the mini 2nd EP HAUTE COUTURE released in Nov. 2024 drew a total audience of 250,000 over six performances, proving their overwhelming popularity.
