The K-pop flagship awards ceremony 'MAMA Awards,' which has continued for 26 years, was put on alert when a large fire broke out on the 26th at Wang Fuk Court, a 32-story residential high-rise apartment complex in the Tai Po district in northern Hong Kong. Earlier, Lee Jun-hyeok spoke about the Hong Kong fire disaster, "Even before coming to this place and at this moment, I am praying for Hong Kong. I hope the support and consolation from many people, including myself, are conveyed," while Jang Doyoun said, "I stood on stage to present an award, but I feel apologetic. I will pray with all my heart for everyone affected by this disaster and for Hong Kong."
Lee Jun-hyeok and Jang Doyoun drew attention for their peculiar chemistry on the YouTube variety show 'Salong Drip.' They reunited at the MAMA Awards after serving together as emcees at the opening ceremony of the 21st Jecheon International Music & Film Festival held last September.
