New indie band Paper Life has returned with a sensory album.
On the 27th at 12 p.m., Paper Life's first EP "(Co.) Paper Company" was released on domestic and international online music sites through the global music platform AURORA.
The new release "(Co.) Paper Life" tells the stories of people with conflicted emotions. It consists of four tracks, and with track 2 "Secret paradise" and track 3 "Pointless" presented as double title tracks, it showcases Paper Life's distinctive diverse charms. Also, on track 3 "Pointless," keyboard member Yeom Su-hyeon takes on the role of backing vocalist for the first time, adding a novel atmosphere.
Meanwhile, music videos for the double title tracks "Secret paradise" and "Pointless," which fully capture the mood of the songs, were released on the 27th and made public simultaneously on Danal Entertainment's official YouTube channel, drawing attention.
The band Paper Life is a five-member mixed-gender band composed of vocalist Choi Young-bin, guitarist Lee In-gu, keyboardist Yeom Su-hyeon, bassist Choi Won-gyun and drummer Min Seong-uk. They are a rookie band that presents music adding Korean melody and essence to a J-pop-based band sound.
Starting with the single "Diary," first released in March last year, they have steadily continued activities by releasing "Small raindrops," "There as it is in that place," "Fragments," "A perfectly fine day," "Magical summer" and others. In particular, their second single "Small raindrops" reached No. 13 on the TikTok viral chart and received much love, and they have presented music across various genres that blends trendy sounds with sincere messages.
