'Save Me Homez' — Yoon Eun-hye expressed gratitude to Gong Yoo.
On the 27th broadcast, MBC's 'Save Me! Homez' sent singer and actor Yoon Eun-hye and Hwang Chan-sung on a special scouting trip called 'Gukbap Road in Seoul'.
In this episode, which first explores the combination of gukbap and homes around long-standing local commercial districts such as Majang Market and Geumnam Market, Yoon Eun-hye attracted attention with an unexpected, frank confession.
The first place they visited was a detached house in Dapsimni near Majang Market. Jang Dong-min revealed surprising information, saying, "The homeowner goes to Majang-dong every morning to buy meat in person and handles online distribution from his own building." While looking around the house, Yoon Eun-hye, Hwang Chan-sung and Jang Dong-min discovered the homeowner's unique, large-scale hobby and gushed with admiration, saying, "I'm really jealous," and, "This changes your concept of a home."
The three then headed to Geumho-dong. Around Geumnam Market, which has continued since 1949, the show introduced a line-up of gukbap restaurants and kept the mood going by presenting an apartment fully remodeled in 2024, a 10-minute walk away. In the process, Yoon Eun-hye and Hwang Chan-sung candidly revealed "the work that helped them most to live in their current homes."
In particular, Yoon Eun-hye confessed, "Thanks to 'Coffee Prince' I spent two years doing only commercials," saying that 'Coffee Prince 1st Shop' was the work that changed her life. She said, "That work did well, and fortunately I was so busy that for two years I only shot commercials for cosmetics, shampoo and the like," recalling the era when she was literally the queen of commercials and smiled.
She also expressed gratitude to actor Gong Yoo, who appeared with her. Yoon Eun-hye said, "Gong Yoo oppa filmed a lot of commercials just before he entered the military; I benefited a lot from that. He is truly my benefactor." She added, "I'm happy simply to have met the work that changed my life," reiterating her gratitude as an actor.
