Group SEVENTEEN unit S.Coups X Mingyu will hold live parties in five cities at home and abroad.
On the 28th, HYBE Music Group label PLEDIS Entertainment Co. said S.Coups X Mingyu will open the CxM [DOUBLE UP] LIVE PARTY at Incheon Inspire Arena for three days from Jan. 23 to 25 next year.
The shows continue on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 at Aichi IG Arena, on the 5th and 6th at Chiba Makuhari Messe, and on the 13th and 14th at Busan Exhibition & Convention Center (BEXCO). After a short break, S.Coups X Mingyu will put the final period on the CxM [DOUBLE UP] LIVE PARTY at Kaohsiung Arena in Kaohsiung on April 25 and 26.
The performance title "DOUBLE UP" is a lyric that appears in "Fiesta," a track on S.Coups X Mingyu's first mini album released last September, showing the two's more powerful presence together. Having left a heavy imprint with an album that carries their own rhythm, they are expected to deliver even more intensified "HYPE VIBES" to audiences through this live party.
S.Coups X Mingyu proved hot popularity by breaking various records with their first mini album "HYPE VIBES." The album sold more than 887,000 copies in its first week alone, setting a new record for the highest first-week sales for a K-pop unit album (album sales in the week immediately following release). It entered the U.S. Billboard main albums chart "Billboard 200" at No. 71, the highest ranking for a K-pop unit.
The title track "5, 4, 3 (Pretty woman) (feat. Lay Bankz)" topped major domestic music charts and landed high on the "Worldwide iTunes Songs" chart, gaining widespread love. Riding the success of their album and tracks, S.Coups X Mingyu secured No. 1 on Billboard's "Emerging Artists" chart and remained on the chart for six consecutive weeks.
