The group Epik High succeeded in conquering the four major New York pizzerias.
Epik High (Tablo, Mithra, TUKUT) released a video titled "raiding the four local New York pizzerias within 24 hours of arrival in New York" on their YouTube channel "EPIKASE" on the 27th.
In the video, Epik High carried out a "pizza conquest," personally visiting, tasting and reviewing pizza restaurants in New York that were recommended by local friends while on a scheduled trip.
After arriving in New York, Epik High showed an unusual passion for pizza despite jet lag. They visited, in order, places regarded as New York's best pizzerias in 2024. From pizzerias known for their healthy flavors to locations famous as filming sites for the movie "Spider-Man," they offered vicarious satisfaction through a New York pizza pilgrimage.
While visiting the "four major New York pizzerias," Epik High left candid reviews. Tablo praised Lindustry Pizza's burrata cheese combination as "the perfect balance that tames the saltiness," while at Joe's Pizza, a place of nostalgic memories, he gave a blunt verdict: "the typical New York saltiness, more of a hangover cure than for sober eating."
TUKUT complained after tasting Scars' pizza topped only with mushrooms and no tomato sauce, saying, "It's like ordering cola and getting no lemon-lime soda," while Tablo and Mithra reacted differently, saying, "It's gentle and light on the stomach for people in their 40s," adding to the viewing enjoyment.
When they visited the third pizzeria, a reshoot was required due to poor condition. Tablo revealed the awkward behind-the-scenes moment, saying, "I was so tired at the time that my lips were turning gray like Vision from the movie 'Avengers,'" and said the footage was cut entirely and reshot the next day.
Meanwhile, Epik High continues to entertain and actively communicate with fans every week through a variety of topics on YouTube.<
