Comedian Lee Sugeun's wife, Park Ji-yeon, shared an update while hospitalized.
On the 28th, Park Ji-yeon uploaded a photo to her social account with the caption "My husband said, there are many good people around you. I'll become a better person♥."
The released photo showed a bouquet delivered to Park Ji-yeon. It appears to be a gift sent by Park Ji-yeon's acquaintances to celebrate the 100th day since her kidney re-transplantation.
In particular, the bouquet included a heartfelt letter written by one of Park Ji-yeon's acquaintances, drawing attention. The letter read, "Ji-yeon unni, congratulations on 100 days since being reborn. Finish the surgery well tomorrow and then let's go on a date. I miss you so much and I love you," and "Our Ji-yeon, you worked hard during the hundred days! I hope to see your healthy face. I miss you a lot!!" among other loving messages.
Seeing this, Park Ji-yeon expressed her emotion, saying, "I'm hospitalized so I saw it in a photo, but thank you for your warm hearts♥ amidst your busy schedules♥."
Meanwhile, Park Ji-yeon married Lee Sugeun in 2008 and has two sons. However, during her second pregnancy in 2011 she suffered kidney damage as an aftereffect of preeclampsia, and although she received a kidney transplant from her father, it did not remain stable, so she underwent kidney dialysis treatment for more than 10 years. After being advised to have a kidney re-transplantation, she received a kidney from her biological older brother in August of this year and is recovering.
