The group ENHYPEN received a meaningful award ahead of their 5th anniversary.
On the 28th, the 2025 MAMA AWARDS (hereinafter MAMA Awards) were held at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium.
The K-pop representative awards ceremony that has continued for 26 years, the "MAMA Awards," went into emergency response after a large fire broke out on the 26th at Wang Fuk Court, a 32-story residential high-rise apartment complex in the Tai Po district in northern Hong Kong. The "MAMA Awards" said it would prepare a time to share sorrow and mourn together and contribute donations to support victims, and decided to be careful with overall stage composition and proceedings so the performance could convey comfort and hope rather than flashy production.
One of the grand prizes, "Fans' Choice of the Year," was awarded to ENHYPEN. The moment their name was announced, ENHYPEN embraced each other and savored their joy, and after receiving the trophy from actor Ju Jihoon, they broke into tears they had been holding back.
ENHYPEN said, debuting and having wanted something like this is a first for us. We are so grateful to the fans. I cannot express it in words, but I am truly thankful. We will show many great things going forward so the name Engine can be proud.
