Actor Kim Won-hee for the first time confessed why she has lived 21 years of marriage without having children.
On the 27th broadcast of MBN 'Puzzle Trip', as Kim Won-hee watched the story of Carrie, who had been adopted to the United States, she became teary-eyed as she read the adoption consent form and a letter written long ago by the birth mother.
Kim Won-hee cautiously began, "I am also very interested in stories like this." "I have had a long-held dream. To be precise, should I call it a vision? Fifteen years ago one day, I felt the desire to directly operate an orphanage facility," she revealed.
She then revealed a promise she and her husband made before marriage. "When we were in our 20s before getting married, we talked to each other, 'let's not have biological children and adopt,' and my husband readily agreed. After marriage, while taking care of children, the thought grew that rather than adopting one child it would be better to create a space directly for many children," she said.
To realize this dream, Kim Won-hee and her three sisters actually obtained childcare-related certifications. "The four of us sisters all got daycare and childcare teacher certificates, and my younger sisters are preparing for social worker certificates as well. At some point my heart kept turning in that direction," she said cautiously.
