Group ZEROBASEONE's Zhang Hao delivered a donation to help recover from the Hong Kong fire disaster.
On the 28th, the Fosun Foundation in China announced Zhang Hao's donation on social media.
The foundation said, "To support fire relief in the Tai Po (大) area of Hong Kong, benevolent artist Zhang Hao delivered a donation through the boxing foundation."
It added, "This donation will be used to help affected families overcome hardship," and "We pray for everyone's safety and hope daily life is restored as soon as possible."
On the 26th (local time), a major fire broke out at the high-rise apartment complex Wang Fuk Court in the Tai Po area in northern Hong Kong. As of 6:38 a.m. that day, 94 people were reported dead due to the fire.
In response, attention turned to whether the K-pop awards show "2025 MAMA AWARDS," scheduled to be held at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium on the 28th and 29th, would proceed, and CJ ENM decided to cancel the red carpet event but go ahead with the awards ceremony as planned.
CJ ENM said, "The '2025 MAMA AWARDS' will add the message 'Support Hong Kong' to create a time to share sorrow and mourn together, and will contribute through donations to support victims," adding that "the '2025 MAMA AWARDS' believes in music's healing and solidarity, and is carefully preparing the overall stage composition and proceedings so the performances convey comfort and hope rather than extravagant production."
Artists and agencies participating in the awards show have also followed by announcing donations to lend support.
