Online video service Wavve said on the 19th that it secured exclusive OTT broadcast rights for 'The 17th Melon Music Awards, MMA2025 (2025 Melon Music Awards, MMA2025)' to be held at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul on Dec. 20, and will stream the red carpet and parts 1–3 of the main event live for free from 4 p.m. on the 20th.
MMA, hosted by Kakao Entertainment's music platform Melon (Melon), is a popular music awards ceremony where artists who received great love from domestic and international fans over the year and fans can gather and interact. Through Melon's objective data, user voting and expert judging, it has established itself as the largest K-pop music awards ceremony and festival.
Any Wavve user can watch this 'MMA2025' for free through the Wavve LIVE channel. After the ceremony ends, a replay (VOD) service will be provided to ease the disappointment of fans who could not attend in person.
