CJ ENM released an official statement regarding the Hong Kong fire tragedy in relation to hosting the '2025 MAMA AWARDS'.
CJ ENM's music communication team said on the 27th, "We express our deep condolences to those who lost their lives in the fire incident in Hong Kong," and "We offer our sincere condolences to the bereaved families and all those facing great loss and anxiety."
The '2025 MAMA AWARDS' organizers said they will add the message "Support Hong Kong" to this year's ceremony to provide a time of mourning and will also participate in donations to support the victims.
They added, "'MAMA AWARDS' believes in the healing and solidarity power of music," and "This year we are preparing the overall stage composition and proceedings more carefully so that the performances can convey comfort and hope rather than flashy production."
Finally, they added, "We hope music brings even a little comfort and courage to your hearts," and "We will responsibly and wholeheartedly prepare the '2025 MAMA AWARDS'."
