Singer Lim Chang-jung showed with his whole body the comforting power contained in a single song, delivering a deep resonance to viewers.
Lim Chang-jung appeared on MBN's Unforgettable Duet, which aired at 10:20 p.m. on the 26th. The protagonists of that episode were Im Tae-hoon, known from the Netflix Culinary Class Wars, nicknamed the "iron lunchbox chef," and his grandmother. Joining them as the memory singer, Lim Chang-jung expressed his intention, saying, "I will bring warm comfort through song after a long time."
Im Tae-hoon, who was raised by his grandmother's hand, turned the studio into a sea of tears with the story of the grandmother who took him in from an orphanage and raised him with love and devotion. Next, Lim Chang-jung met them in person on the "memory bus," which held memories of Im Tae-hoon and his grandmother.

Lim Chang-jung poured emotion into each lyric as if the grandmother and Im Tae-hoon's story were fully felt, and at the end of the performance he added to the emotion by offering a bright, comforting smile.
Im Tae-hoon expressed his gratitude, saying, "Being with my grandmother while Lim Chang-jung personally sang such a meaningful song almost moved me to tears."
Having moved audiences with a single performance, Lim Chang-jung plans to continue active musical activities by holding concerts in Los Angeles in the United States and Sydney in Australia in 2026.
