TV personality An Seon-yeong confessed to having double eyelid surgery.
On the 27th, An Seon-yeong posted a photo on her social media (SNS) with the caption, "Everyone, I have something to confess. I got myself into trouble."
An said, "Maybe it's age, but my eyelids were so droopy that I went for an eye shape correction consultation and, true to my all-caps ENFP, I lay right down on the operating table."
She added a playful note, saying, "The result of my first-ever double eyelid surgery is still full-on swelling," and "Baro (my son) doesn't know, so please keep it a secret."
In the photo, the area around An Seon-yeong's eyes is covered with stickers. It appears she used the stickers to hide the immediate post-surgery swelling.
An Seon-yeong debuted in the entertainment industry in 2000 as an MBC open recruitment comedian. She later worked as an actor and appeared in the drama Roseate Life (2005), A Tale of Two Sisters (2009), and Dream High (2011). Most recently, she has been active while juggling live commerce, business, and broadcasting.
She married a businessman three years her junior in 2013 and they have a son.
